Do I need to be a member of the Uniting Church?
You don't need to be a member of our congregation to have a ceremony at the Mudgee or Rylstone Uniting Churches but you need to be willing to be married in the Christian tradition according to the Rites of The Uniting Church. You are always welcome and encouraged to attend services at our churches anytime.
We are happy to hold same-sex weddings in our church, everyone is welcome to enquire.
Can our own minister perform the ceremony?
Generally, our own minister in placement will conduct weddings at Rylstone and Mudgee Uniting Churches. Your own Uniting Church minister can conduct the ceremony with the prior approval of the church council.
What is the capacity of the Church?
The seating is flexible and can be arranged to suit your needs (central aisle, double aisle, small intimate wedding).
Maximum seating is approximately 120 people.
Church Hire $300.00
Minister/Celebrant fee $250.00
Musician from $100.00
(can be negotiated)
After service refreshments are permitted in the adjoining community rooms for an extra fee. (No Alcohol)
Your guests will enjoy air-conditioned comfort while wedding photos are taken outside the Church.
We have an AV projector and screen in the Church that can be used to display images before or during the ceremony.
